OK, these two beaties are a pretty sad pair, but since I saw them the other day, I figured I'd stop and take some snaps. The red one is a six. Both look fairly complete. They are in Sussex County in northwest New Jersey. The phone number and For Sale sign is in one photo below. If anyone wants to forward this info to a Mustang or Ford forum, be my guest. The phone number is 973-271-1366

There was a similar Stang near me and the owner let it rust into oblivion because I guess he wanted crazy money for it. But you never know!

Both are '65s, in case someone asks.

As someone who has restored a few of these, those are parts cars.

Blue one looks just like my fathers first Mustang. It had the 289 HiPo engine and was fun to Auto-X.

Certainly not worth restoring. With the huge numbers of these around, it's just not that hard to find a good one. No sense spending 20 grand to have a car worth 10.

Had a co-worker the other day sort-of hint he wanted to sell me his '73 Mach 1 basket case, which sounds like it looked like these two. By his description, it sounds like he needs to cut the fastback roof off and slide another car underneath it. Incredibly, I passed on his offer.
