Vintage V is actually one of the most crowded racing series in sweden. I rented one for a weekend and it was so much fun(the red with the white nose) , will buy one if i ever get my hands on fast one. It was on historic dunlop racing, which is what makes this car. Slicks is a strange choice for these types of cars..
The newer cars use a much different rear suspension and are quite a bit more streamlined. I've driven both modern and vintage Formula Vees. While the slicks make up a huge portion of the quicker lap times it's the whole package. Modern FVs are probably 10 seconds a lap quicker than the vintage cars.
