According to David Hobbs, BMW didn't give a E36 M3 about winning. Supposedly these cars didn't have rear swaybars, so Hobbs and co. installed rear sways and went 2-3 seconds a lap faster. BMW of North America told them to take it off.
Well, so much for the vaunted BMW technical expertise:
yeah, that is kinda how I felt. but they are pretty to look at.

I just realized something. The Previa has a solid rear axle. What are they doing to get the camber?

In Japan the non heavy duty versions came with an IRS. That one was swapped to IRS. Funny thing is the Japanese heavy duty/solid axle versions had 8 seats but in the US we get the heavy duty suspension and at most 7 seats. I think they were calling us fat!
1981 Mercury Capri Cosworth DBA | September 4, 2008
Bob Fehan and Ron Fournier built this one of a kind BDA Cosworth Capri, all the body mods were fabricated in STEEL, the 350 hp Cosworth put this on top of the pony car charts, 5 speed ZF Gearbox, Ford 9" 5 bar link suspension, Koni shocks, Racaro seats. Stright line performance was 0 to 60 in 4.5 sec and 1/4 mile times were 12.9 sec. one more thing it pulled just under 1G on the skid pad. Thanks to Bobby Fehan and Ron Fournier for building cars like this almost 30 years ago.

I miss mine. I wanted to flare the fenders so I could stick more meat under it to hold up to the 351-W I had stuffed between the fenders. Kinda want another one to put an LS engine in it. Haha.
With the Flared Fox-Body Mustangs, Meier Racing makes the fenders and stuff for them. The 03-04 Cobra IRS fits under the ass end very easily too. Need to get pix of my friend's 84 SVO with full Maximum Motorsports suspension and 04 Cobra IRS under it. Damn thing is on the GROUND!

Not exactly box flares. But big flares. Big made on an English wheel steel flares.
