Other "the answer" vehicles.

I was inspired by irish44j's thread about "The Answer" vehicles, and I decided to create a new one to get more of them. Post a vehicle, and what it is the answer to. I believe the Fiero is the answer to "What is an affordable mid-engined car?" True, the MR2 is a better car, but for dirt-cheap MR thrills, the Fiero clinches it.

I want 500+ HP and a manual transmission, but my wife says "be practical, we have kids!" Here's your answer:

you wanted the last generation Focus RS that was never sold stateside? You want the forthcoming Golf R sportwagon that isn't going to be sold stateside? You only have $10k in your account?

You need the V50 wagon with a 6spd manual, AWD and T5

Not that i'm against this, but with 18 vehicles i dont have the attention span to finish it in one sitting so i'm not going to start.

I've got an MGB with a 12a in it. That kinda ticks a bunch of boxes for me.

This is exactly what we're doing, and I'd LOVE to hear the questions that you've answered with your fleet.

I think the Ty/Sy brothers could be an answer to something if the prices came down and/or production was higher.

The Avalanche and Ridgeline should be the answers but fall short somehow.

I know the motorcycle of your choosing, a sunny day and winding roads (like rural NH) is the answer to a sucky day.

The only thing that I can think is even close.

You want a European sedan. You want a newer car with under 50K miles. And you need to tow up to 3500lbs on occasion. You are a skinflint and don't want to spend more than $10K. You get this:
