Let me see if I can get some info regrarding potential autocross sites.
I believeCFR autocross at the Port St. Lucie Fairgrounds. If the skidpad in the photo is about 300x600 range it does make it usable for clubs to use
In reply to aw614 :
Both venues are at the same exit, too.
Well this is freakin awesomeI I hadn't heard anything about it yet. ...about 5 mins down the road from our St Lucie rallyx site.
Exciting to see a Florida track that has elevation change.

There seems to be a lot of these "private motor clubs" opening up or in construction. Within a few hours of me, both Flat Rock in Tennesee and 10 Tenths in Charlotte are about to open up, I think both tracks are pretty much finished. I know Flat Rock is supposedly ultra-exclusive, we'll see if 10 Tenths is the same. It's nice to see at least one of these projects making room for the more Grassroots end of the spectrum.
Yeah, we're getting one right up the road from me, too. Sounds like it's members-only, unfortunately.
when the landing page says something like "Immerse yourself in the ultimate motorsports haven", i know i can't afford it.
Looks great. Let's hope they got all zoning in perpetuity like the Podium Club at Attesa did near Casa Grande, AZ. 120db sound max and no worry of construction nearby affecting track operation, forever.

Let's hope. With AMP gone, Attessa will have to be my new go-to. I'm not super-stoked on the 70 mile trip each way, though. That's going to be $70 in gas just to trailer down there!
Hmm ... just realized something. Port St. Lucie. That's the Spring Training home for the New York Mets. A day at P1 and a day at the ballpark? That sounds like a good deal to me.
In reply to J.A. Ackley :
Yup, P1 is located near the Mets training cap.
Play ball!

I would love to see Apex open up to ProAuto or PCA at some point. Both Attessa/Podium and INDE have made it work well.
INDE is 85 miles for us, and Podium 150 miles (one way). AMP was certainly nice for the Phoenix crowd.
The Country Club model has worked well here in AZ, and 2 out of 3 have granted access to us plebes through local trackday orgs.
I'm super interested to see if these kinds of things pan out. I'd love to have a place at one. There's one that been proposed (on a much smaller scale) near me for years

SUPPOSEDLY they break ground this year.

I agree, the country club model seems to be holding up pretty well and scaling to other markets. Atlanta Motorsports Park has been open over 10 years and is doing great. They make a lot of their money from events that can be accessed by non-members. Track day operators frequently do weekends there, the karting track is open to the public and does rentals, and they did their first SCCA race last summer. It's at least as accessible as Road Atlanta which is a traditionally managed track. I've come to think of it as wealthier people subsidizing the track for general use, so in a way we all win.

Oh man. I'll put in my time request off now for when it opens.
