So everything else being equal what one would you purchase?
08 with 85K for 7.2 K
or
09 with 114K for 6.9K
I am actually thinking that I would get the 08. Both are black with tinted windows. New tires complete service. Both have immaculate interiors. Was there any upgrades from 08 to 09 that would make the 09 a better car? Literally if you put them next to each other you can not tell the difference between the two. This would be for a DD commuter car for me. I am getting tired of my P car as a DD. I want to ride to work in my living room.
No one? I am leaning towards the 08 due to the millage. Are there any differeces between the 08 & 09's? Is one better than the other for some reason?

Do they both have the same seats? As in the cop belt accomodating wide flat bench like seats? If so then it comes down to options, final drive ratio if there's a difference between the two. And another tip is to look at original paint color inside door jams. What you really want is a former supervisor, highway, sheriif, or fire car. BTW I've been a taxi driver since '95. I don't know if there are any differences between '08 & '09. I don't think there are. There can be a HUGE difference in that 29k miles if they were both patrol cars. $300 is well worth it for 29k less miles if all else is equal.
If you can't distinguish between the better condition one, just get both and send me the higher mileage one.
Yeah, no major differences during the last years few of production (including 08 and 09). Wrek496 has it right. If the 09 has an LSD or locker and the 08 has an open diff, that's a good reason to consider the 09. Same goes for other options, like cruise (rare in a P71 but possible). Otherwise, I'd go for the lower mileage one.
i thought trac-loc was standard. i had no idea cruise was rare. maybe that's regional, around here they all have it.
If they are both P71's, they will be mechanically identical, including LSD. Cruise was an option. I'd go for the 08.
They apear to be identical down to the colors. And window tint. Ya the 08 seema to be where i am leaning.
