Happy New Year folks, last week my wife’s pentastar lost a couple seals in the Oilfilter Housing/Oil cooler so I replaced it. NOW after completing the job I have a CEL with multiple faults.
p0128 - coolant temp below
p0113 - intake air sensor
p2181 - coolant performance
p0571 - brake switch
p0108 - map sensor
p0123 - tps high
p0222 - dtc voltage
soooo... I would guess that I broke a wire somewhere that is causing all of these problems but thought I would ask the brain trust if they have run across this somewhere else. The vehicle is a 2014 CT&C.
It seems like half the time I have the intake off of one of these (oil cooler assembly is a very common replacement item) I fail to get the MAP plugged in all the way. Makes me feel stupid every time.
As for the others... I have little idea. Make sure everything actually is plugged in, and if you didn't use a vacuum fill to reinstall the coolant, you're going to have a bit of fun burping the cooling system of air, which MAY be the cause of the 2181.
With that kind of diversity I’d start by checking grounds.

No grounds get disturbed in the process of replacing the oil cooler. You unplug the IAT, MAP, and throttle body, remove the upper intake, unplug all of the coils and injectors, remove the lower intake, loosen the oil filter so the housing drains out, remember that you forgot to drain the coolant, start the coolant draining, go get something to eat, come back and unbolt the oil cooler so you can get to the coolant hoses and oil pressure/temperature connectors, then throw it all back together.
(On a Promaster, this also involves taking the nose off so you can shift the radiator forward so you can access the two forward intake support nuts. And cutting the upper manifold apart with a saw since the Torx-headed bolts rusted into useless nubs due to sitting in wells of water since Promasters do not have engine covers)
Thanks, I’ll go through it a third time.

It was as much fun as it sounds.
