I haven't missed the Challenge for 7 consecutive years. I will unfortunately not be there this year, and I am really sad.
Some personal family issues have come up, and I will have to sit this one out.
I will miss you Dorks, but you better whoop some tarmac! My expectations are extremely high, and I will NOT let you off the hook very easily!
I guess I'll have to bring 2 cars next year to make up for it...
(Maybe I shouldn't have said anything about a torch. Hope none of the Hongs were listening!)

I'm not, so my streak of going every other year will be intact I suppose.
Paul, first and foremost I hope all is well with you and the family, give a holler if there's anything I can do for you.
Second, sad that you cant make it. I honestly thought about flying down this year just to hang out but turns out I need to be in a training class the following week so I need to be in the air sunday.
You'll make up for it next year, with any luck you can drive the Yugo for me ;)
Take care of the family, that's always a priority and give them all my best.

I'll probably be coming up Friday to spectate again, even though I won't be participating. (That will make this the fourth year in a row that I have done this. )
If my wife buys benefits, I'll fly down, but the future is currently unpredictable.
Also, if someone can pick me up from there airport and doesn't mind sharing a bed. I can cuddle.. Or not?
Thanks for your concern, Jim. Everything should be fine, just had to make an important choice.
I would LOVE to drive the Yugo! Oh my gosh, my heart just skipped a beat!
Pretty sure the Turbo Monster Caravan will be there, so I will happily trade a few rides with you!
Awwww maaan. I was really looking forward to hanging out with you. I hope all is well with the clan and I understand. Family is always first.
Speaking of spectators, who was in the yellowish 720 4x4 last year? That guy was cool and I liked the sports bar he directed us to.

If you are even slightly honest about your build you smell like tire smoke so that cant be it.
Paul if you need anything just yell out, we have room on Mongo en route and at the venue BTW.
Hope everything works out for the family.

You can drive my Yugo too. Hope everything is ok with family.
Rumor has it that the words "Challenge" and "torch," when used in the same sentence, cause the queen's blood pressure to spike.
Bummer Paul. Like the others have said, if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask. We'll see you next year.

Some police officers and firefighters have no sense of humor.
Add me to the list of call me if you need anything. You've got my number.
How am I going to get those drag tires to you now? Anyone going back up I-75 that could drop them off to Paul?
Are they in your way? I can wait, or I can connect with a Challenger. I am not in a rush, but don't want to keep taking up space in your garage.
You'll need to log in to post.
