For those that don't know, multiple sources have confirmed that an update to the RT660 will be coming and available around Q1 of 2025. Doesn't sound like it will be a big difference, but there ended up being a pretty large pace difference between the 615K and 615K+ with not too many changes, so time will tell.
Example source:
We have a set coming for our usual eval, plus Falken already sent a set of the outgoing tire so we could do a direct comparo. We'll also add in one of the other pointy end Super 200's to see where the new guy lands.
In reply to Andy Hollis :
Can't wait! The tire tests are a huge "added value" for us.

Hopefully comes to market that performs as well as the CRS V2 but is actually available to purchase...
Wonder if the 660+ will still have the splice issue.

This question is quite possibly the first thing the engineers had to address.
Checks price. Smashes head against the wall.

Rt660+ is currently available in my size (and $4/tire cheaper than RT660).... gamble with the new version or get the 'proven' old version?
I doubt they made it worse given the history with the RT615- get the new one, save $16, run it and tell us all about it

New > old.
Proven? Yeah, the old one was proven to have some issues -- not for everyone but certainly for many. I have dirty pictures I could share...
Full size list is up on their site, and most are available on tirerack.

I order a set of the 235s for my ND Miata. Hopefully trying them out on Thursday. I haven't driven on the original RT660s though, so I can't give a comparison.

I decided to wait on RT660+, and picked up a set of Nankang CR-S. I'll try the Falkens on the next go 'round...
