So you have to wonder what other BS the seller is trying to peddle.

Had a blue one for years. Fantastically fun car but it was always in need of something. Front shocks are still obtainable. Rear shocks will have to be some sort of custom job (MR2 inserts). Prop shafts are mega $$$$ and cannot be repaired. Mine started out as a dog and never recovered. Lots of parts are not available. Rear hubs are a major problem to locate. Recaro seats are my favorite ever.
Turn up the boost and they're a whole lot of fun. Weight is right about 3050#. Repairing anything under the hood requires to always remove the intercooler first (inside joke).

I think this car was offered earlier in the year for half the price. This guy bought it and has tried to flip it for alot more. I just looked at the reviews on carsurvey.org and everyone liked it alot. I may replace my Crx with something a little bigger. I'll keep my eye on this. It has a cool rally look to it.
That guys deserves to get extra for his car just on the fact that it's a comprehensible ad on CL and even had pictures.
Most are like: 98 Camerie, good condishion, lots of miles, some rust and leeks oil, no low ballers, $2500 will take less.

Has some dints, runs fine aside from whole in block.
Cash offer could only come up with $2700 last night for the MX6. No deal.
I still have the MX6, and i doubt the Impulse is still available after it made Jalopnik yesterday.
Guy will be call me back again tonite to tell me if he came up with the $3300 i want. (There's a reason for my current $3500 asking price, trust me. I'll make a new thread tonite with pictures of my new goodies. )

FWIW, the Mitchell said that step one in timing belt change is "Remove engine from vehicle."
Nope, no problem at all changing the timing belt with the engine in the car. Definitely easier with the engine out but totally unnecessary and a waste of time.
Trust me, I work for one of the bigger parts houses and you will be able to find next to nothing for an Impulse. They are a blast on the other hand though. I went to highschool with a guy that had one.
