I guess Raybestos no longer makes Race pads? maybe someone can chime in?
I called the Raybestos tech line and they said those part numbers no longer existed in their system.
Their race pads have been on backorder for about 6 months.
I know "First Brands Group" bought out Raybestos, Centric , & StepTech recently.
mayve they arn't interested in the small race market?
or maybe they are combining everything under 1 name?

That would be big news, their ST43s are popular with pro teams and money's-no-object amateurs.

That's a shame. I swear by the ST-43 compound. Nothing better!

It looks like they have my pads in stock, that's good. But I hope Raybestos didn't stop making pads. I'll have to call around more.

The tech support lady said they still made race pads. But the parts guy said the race pad part numbers were no longer in their system.

They are also popular in endurance racing.  We use it on our Cressida.

I always think the ST43 are one of the cheaper options.  PFC pads are like $500 a set for my application.

Plus, the ST43 seem to last a LONG time.

I believe the tech ladies name is Wendy.  She is awesome and VERY helpful.

If she says they exist, I'd believe her!

They are also really rotor friendly, we see no real wear.  We usually get 3-4 races out of the pads and rotors go until they crack, usually 10+ races.

From what i remember either Raybestos bought Porterfield or the other way around. Go to Porterfields website and they list the ST-43/ST-45/ST-47 pad compounds as available.

ST43s are about $500 a set for a Toyobaru, but yeah there are vastly more expensive pads out there...

Looks like Porterfield has my ST43 HB100 and 7416 pads in stock. I like st43s, a pad that works at the autocross and also on the track. Even with manual brakes. Idk what magic they put into these pads

Hopefully they still make the pad and stock won't run out. Since it's a good pad and pretty cheap in my pad types.
