So while reading the article on the CTS-V in the June magazine my wife walked by and mentioned she liked "that" car. Negotiations immediately began and a couple of test drives later I got that green light to get this one. Its actually her DD, but at least its in my driveway. LOL. Thank you GRM!!!

Some days I'm proud of what I do. This is one of those.

Clearly, we are making the world a better place.

Ha so you noticed that... Ive lurked for a long time just never posted before. Its awesome what you guys have been creating / growing.

Thanks! It really is an awesome car that can be picked up relatively inexpensive as stated in the article. Being an avid car guy somehow I overlooked this car, or just forgotten about it. Truly owe it to GRM.

A true opportunist. I keep at the wife with motorcycles. Latest is the KTM Enduro 690R... she doesn't like the color. Grrr.

I think I might need a CTS-V to replace the S6 when it hits half a million miles.

E36 M3. I just did my first Autotrader search for a Cadillac. And it felt good.

Now I need to go find my June issue.

Remember to put the CTS-V in to your GRM My Garage. That way we can vote it up.

In reply to PeterAK:

Be patient... the worst was after the first test drive, oh man did I start feigning.

My best experience was to deal with private sellers. Dealers as always try to get all the money and have the time to show the car off. Private sellers do a better job of getting impatient and frustrated with buyers they have to deal with and in the end negotiate better. I feel fortunate to have found a seller that had given dozens of joy rides and buyers with no credit. In the end he let it go for a song.
