Man at arms reforged. They make neat swords. Their one bladesmith Ilya? (I don't know how to spell ot) is an obnoxiously good blacksmith.

Also, Steve Meade designs (ridiculous car audio) and revive skateboarding (they get piles of hate for being Mormon or something, but the you make we skate it is a great web series and totally family friendly. ).

-Regular Car Reviews for bizzare, gonzo style car reviews

-The Smoking Tire for reviews of a wide variety of modified cars in the California cannyons

-Finnegan's Garage for when you need a no budget fix between the free Roadkill episodes

-Motorweek because they have a large archive of their reviews from the 80s and early 90s

Edit: Oh and zeroundersteer has some really well shot footage of European semi-pro rally events. A good hand full of their videos are of historic rally events and contain Group B goodness.

AvE-An awesome GRM-ish (but more general than just motorsports focused) tool review/garage hacks/metal fabrication/electronics building/machining/bumbleberkeleyery (his word) channel with a hilarious Canadian host:

https://www.youtube.com/user/arduinoversusevil

If you are into motorcycles:

Luc1-Artful and entertaining race-coverage videos of a French supermoto team, each one really is a great vignette of the event with awesome slo-mo, action shots, and human interest. The wonders of the internet, follow a race team halfway across the world through triumph, goofing off, and heartbreak as if you know each member of the team:

https://www.youtube.com/user/Luc1motorsport

Ichiban Moto-Tongue-in-cheek cafe racer builds, DIY how-to, and garage hacks hilarity. Think of all of the humor of Bad Obsession with 1/50th of the fabrication talent. Best taken with a grain of saltshaker, but really fun nonetheless:

Ooop, late to the party, but I second rodknock's zeroundersteer vote:

And if you are into sideways rally action, sceaming engines, and rally crashes/carnage, JPeltsi provides great footage from Finland:

  • Cars and Cameras, also the related "Isaac It'll Be Fine" channel. They mostly do go-kart and mini bike type stuff. Isaac has occasionally been putting up stuff on his projects, which currently are a decent mix of old European stuff and stuff that's powered by a small block chevy. (not mutually exclusive)

  • Jafromobile, lots of 4G63 content, including a '92 Hyundai Elantra with a sketchy short block and an ebay 20G turbo putting entirely too much power to the front wheels. There's also his much more reasonable '95 Eclipse GSX, a VR4 waiting on restoration, and a Dodge Colt with a lot of 1g DSM guts in it (including the AWD).

  • SoundmanCA, it's a car audio guy swapping an EJ20 into a VW Squareback trucklet-ish thing that was originally built by a mini trucker, bags are involved. So is a lot of low brow humor.

  • B is for Build, This guy buys wrecked cars from Copart and fixes them up. He just finished a Lotus Evora and is currently working on a twin turbo S197 mustang and an FJ Cruiser.

  • EricTheCarGuy, mostly repair videos, also is currently working on a turbo SBF powered Fairmont.

  • Tom's Turbo Garage, He did a complete build series on an LS3 swapped Mazdaspeed Miata and is now currently refreshing a Nissan Figaro. Also has a Galant VR-4 and an IS-F that show up occasionally. Formerly had a 1G Talon TSI and a Buick Grand National.

I spend too much time on youtube.

Ooooh I want to play:

My son and I have watched all of the Mighty Car Mods content. Petrolicious is good sometimes, can be a little pretentious. EricTheCarGuy has some great tech videos.

Regular Car Reviews is a love it or hate it kind of thing -- this guy has to be the same age as I am with the cultural references. He was blasted on these pages for his Porsche 944 review, but give him a chance with a video that's back to form:

1995 Honda Civic Hatch EH2: Regular Car Reviews

Salt City Euros makes some high quality E30 build videos:

Team O'Neil Rally has had some good content lately:

-DeBoss garage. Neat Diesel content. Also turbo'd ls Mercedes wagon, GTO resto, and more

-Home Built by jeff. Everything DIY. Last time I checked, he was making his own interior for a sweet 911 he's been resto-modding. 5% home improvement stuff.

-Nathan's Garage. Ford trucks with P71 frame swaps.

-welding tips and tricks. Just what it sounds like. Real world Tig knowledge, with a bunch of stick, Mig, and whatnot throughout.

-the smoking tire. Purely junk food, but sometimes its fun to watch someone drive cars you probably will never get the chance to.

Of course, Bad Obsession, and others previously mentioned in the thread were left off for brevity. I'm between jobs. Youtube is helping me cram my head with knowledge.

It's amazing how many other people watch the channels I watch.

I watch:

Roadkill (technically MotorTrend), MCM, Engineering Explained, MotionAutoTV, B is for build (although he does somethings that makes me want to yell at the screen), Cars and Cameras (and Issac it'll be fine), Bad Obsession, ChrisFix

I also subscribe to but don't watch every video from:

ErictheCarGuy, Taylor Ray, The Smoking Tire, Hooniverse, Thatdudeinblue, Deboss garage, 1320video, The Humble Mechanic

Oh and shameless plug you can watch me screw around with crappy 80s dodges

My Sunday morning coffee ritual involves watching videos from the clickspring channel. Sure it is clock making and not auto related but I find it very relaxing and after watching it I notice that my own fabrication and machining is improved. His attention to detail is jaw dropping.

In the late 60's and eraly 70's there was a car show called Car & Track.
In the early days of Speedvision Channel they used to replay the whole episodes. The first half of the show was racing and car news like what was happening in Nascar. The second half was a new car review.
Via youtube, I could not find the who episodes but have found some car reviews.

When NEW! Dodge Charger 500 w/426 hemi being tested.

Sample: In this review of the '74 Olds Omega they say the car did well in the slalom but notice the car spins out before finishing the slalom.

More fun:
One of their common test maneuvers is a J-turn or "Rockford Slid". I chuckle when they do this with both the Shelby Mustang and the AMX.

I also chuckle that all the brake testing seems to be just jam on the brakes and flat spot the heck out of them. Add to that the smallness and simplicity of the stock tires.
