On my dad's Alfa GTV6, he has a set of 3-piece 15" Simmons wheels, and we're hoping to find a set of wider outer lips so he can fit more tire correctly. Here's a pic of the wheels, which currently have an old set of 225/50/15 Yokohoma street tires, and you can see how much reverse stretch (?) there was with that setup. The car has a supercharged 3.0 swap, so it needs the contact patch to get the power down (prefer not go back down to a 205).
Simmons was an Australian firm that closed shop, so OE is needle in a haystack.
We've found http://www.whitehorseindustries.com.au/metal-spun-wheels.html which makes BBS and Simmons wheel lips, but that would require ordering/shipping from Australia.
I am thinking there has to be a similar company here in the US?
The wheels currently measure barely 7" width, and he's wanting to run at least a 225/45 (BFG Rival perhaps) so an extra inch of rim width would be ideal.
Not much help except early Saleens ran Simmons but I think they were 16s.
I love those which is why I have a set
Jongbloed, Rotiform, kodiak and Wheelflip all make customs wheel parts. Last I checked jongbloed was the best deal.
