My 94 RRC 4.2 may need, or desire, new injectors. I've heard Ford 5.o injectors are a good upgrade. A wide variety of options. How does one figure out which ones to use?

What is an RRC?

What's the reason to upgrade the injectors? I'd expect stock injectors to be the best choice for a stock engine with a stock, non-mappable ECU.

High mileage and, supposedly, more hp and better fuel economy. Originals don't have the best spray pattern.

Get cc an or lb/ hour and the ohms of yours. Then start looking at the specs of the fords and match them up.  Wiring may also be an issue unless the plugs match.

Can you go up on flow rate?? (in other words, is it a good idea)

The ECU will still try to hit its target AFRs, so unless you're planning on reprogramming that, I don't see how more flow may be beneficial and may actually cause issues if the increased flow means that it'll cause problem in low flow - like idle/small throttle opening -  situations.

Better spray pattern is probably more beneficial.
