Still doing the driving/resto thing on the 88 900 SPG. It is coming along. But every time that I look at the front end of an 85 or 86, I want mine to look like that. It is hard to tell from pics online, but what would be needed to swap out the grill, lights... from the early one to the 88?
I've heard the bezels can be pretty hard to find now. Not sure about the grille or light bucket mounts. I'm hoping to go meet up with a guy with a bunch of parts cars this week; I'll take a peek and see how they mount.
it's a matter of lights, bezels, grill, and bumpers.
I have all the European pieces for mine.. yes, that includes the flat headlights
So then, the hood and fenders remain the same?
Local junk yard has at least ten Saabs in it. For the most part they look un touched. Next time I am there I can see if they have one and how complete the nose is.

Correct. The hood and fenders are identical between slantnose and flatnose c900s.
