This week's test car is a new Lexus IS 350 F Sport in white. While driving it home on a deserted I-95 at about 2:00 in the morning this weekend, guess what came up behind me? Another new IS 350 F Sport. In white.

Did you get a look at the driver? If not, it may have actually been you from the future.

Maybe. He passed me and kept on going. Both cars had Florida tags, too.
Not many technoviolet e36 M3s running around there so if it does happen I'll do the spiderman thing posted above.
There sure is a reaction when I cross paths with another X1/9. It has happened twice in 14 years, excluding Fiat club events.
Quite a few years back now, I was driving one of the small state highways around here in my Golf yellow 2002 when I glanced in the rearview to see I was being followed by...a Golf yellow 2002. We both pulled over in the next town and had a brief chat. It was a bit surreal.
I never see a twin of my truck, a GMT 800 Sierra in white. Nope, never seen another one.
That said, I very rarely see a twin of whatever I’m driving. Mostly because I drive vehicles so old and unpopular that no one else wants to drive one.
I see the wife's Koup everywhere it seems. The Sierra not so much. And No... there are no 78 C10 stepsides left on the road in Indiana.
This has never happened to me, and likely never will based on what I drive. Due to the age or rarity, usually a combination of the two. The closest was at a BMW drivers school when my instructor was also driving an E30 M3 except in a different color, but that doesn't really count in my book.
My current Pathfinder is not that unique in outward appearance but have yet to see one with the V8 emblem on the side.

Only if he hit 88 mph....

It was another universe over-lapping. The multiverse has been proven you know...

Both press cars, I'm guessing.

It's just the two universes. Ours, and the cowboy universe.
Including mine, there are four IS-Fs at my tiny gym. Any given time I go, there's at least one other one in the parking lot with me.
I ride a fairly rare bike with a 2 year only model designation (Triumph Dayton T595). Coming up to a red I see the identical bike taking a left going the same way I was going to. Both had under tail aftermarket exhaust. I caught up 3 lights later adn pulled up next to him in the lane at the light. He looked, rightly so, confused why I would crowd his space. When he registered the bike, it was a fist bump and thumbs up back and forth. Haven't seen another one since.
My last daily was a black G37, they are everywhere, my current pearl white GX460 is far rarer. Also, ladies love this thing and compliment me on it all the time. Who knew?

In my younger days, I played Ultimate. Every person on our team (but one) owned a Honda Civic hatch. He owned a Mazda Precidia (aka MX3).
owning a Burgundy Disco 2 and a bright red fiat 500 abarth, I rarely see a doppleganger on the road.
There is, however, a white Fiat 500 abarth down the road that is the colour opposite of mine. Where mine is red with white striping and mirrors. That one is white with red striping and mirrors. Different wheels though, that one has white 17s instead of my gunmetal 16s
