I didn't see anyone post a SeaSucker rack yet . . . here is ours.  We've also used it on the Mustang, and it should work on the M2.  Great product, and I appreciate that we can move it from vehicle to vehicle.  It's really only for bikes though.  You can see that it uses suction cups to mount to the car.  I always hose down the roof before using it.

I'm not sure how sporty an AMC Eagle wagon is, but these low buck mods would work great on any sporty car rack.  For Chico the Street Eagle, I took an inexpensive (under $100) mass produced roof basket, and gussied it up a bit with a homemade dimple die and some old school Daylighters on modified clamp on brackets.

That car is somehow more than the sum of its parts.  Good job.  This is grassroots.

I've had this cargo box for a few years, but this weekend was the first time I've ever had it on the car. That thing is handy!

Could you, please, post up close up pics of how that bike is set up in there?

You guys are going to make me put the bike rack on the CRX and get a picture. Here's the Thule setup without the bike racks.

I also have a picture somewhere of my first Miata with the top down and a whitewater kayak on the windshield frame and roll bar. I seem to recall getting a little wet on the way home.

In the meantime, here are a couple.

I need to talk to him about how we could make this work on the 2. Ive seen folks mount to the engine lid with raised posts
