That picture makes it look like you are running the "Newey Rake" that seems to be all the rage in F1 these day.
Just hard on the brakes with soft lowering springs and probably not quite enough damping either. I think my next change to the car will be new bump stops to make things a bit more predictable at the limit.
Not my car, but I did rent it for the day. This is me checking off bucket list item #1.
Kind of a cool story to go with it. In 2012 the wife and I were in Germany and I REQUIRED that we do a lapping day at the 'ring. Instead of running our crappy rental Peugeot diesel we rented this Scirocco Cup car- 220hp, DSG gearbox, race brakes, race suspension, race tires... I think I did 6 laps that day before rain rolled in. On my last flying lap the photographer grabbed this shot of me fully committed to a blind uphill corner with no other cars in the shot.
Later that night we checked in to our gasthaus in a nearby town for rest, food, and a few beers. The lady running the place happens to take pictures at the track and sell them on the web. Scrolling through her shots for the day was this image. It was her only 'clean' shot of me all day.
the only photo from last weekend. Apparently old crap boxes don't garner much attention from photogs. Lol
The new favorite photo of my car, ripping that front tire off the ground. Probably should have bumped the rear shocks up a click or two but it felt great and it looked awesome
Grid probably doesnt count.... this was the last autocross of 2020 at Heartland Park Topeka a few weeks ago.
