This is graining from a blown up shot. This is how I won my first North Carolina Autocross championship back in 1991.
Doing 170 down the front straight at Pitt Race. (ok ok, 117. It felt faster) I have either gapped all other cars, they have gapped me, or I missed a flag.
First time with my own car at Slalom - Stock suspension was quite good at keeping the car stable at 165km/h on the Autobahn, but not here.
It was fun keeping my body correctly seated!
An old one. Pocono, late 1980's, ITC class. Andy Lally happened to be in the same race in an ITA MR2. I never saw him after the green flag (needless to say).
Northeast Oklahoma SCCA RallyX at 'Billy Bob's Farm'. My 2019 Challenge Boxster ('01 Boxster) with a new engine.
Was at the Colonial Cup Challenge at the beginning of September. Had a total blast and ran my fastest time at Summit Point Main of 1:30.7. Car did overheat after around 18min during sessions. Required me to pull in early and let it cool down each session. Brakes did outstanding, no issues with the Porterfield R4's, RBF600 and Boomba air deflectors for the brakes.
Time for the installation of my Mountune radiator to cool this beast during 20 min sessions.
