Those Corvette kits are pretty underwhelming....
It's difficult to make a modern car look like a vintage car, their sizes and proportions just don't work well.
I want to find a cheap xk8 and make a db7 racecar...
I just want an XK8 hardtop.
Some sort of LS or Coyote swap would be cool
I agree the xk8 coupe is just a great shape. It needs a 6speed though.
Those cross-generational designs are tough. Lot's of misses. Very few hits. A design needs to be from start to finish to look great. Just tacking on a different front end doesn't really fit a full design language.
