I had a guy call me a homo while I was delivering pizza in my Miata...as he was sitting on the lawn with a few other guys next to his Grand Prix.

Also had a guy try to race me in a Cavalier while I was delivering Pizza.

I just laugh and carry on with my day.

Strangely, i had something like this happen when i was in Grand Junction this summer. You'd think they'd be used to seeing a TON of Miatas there...

I get that from some of the fox body goobers occasionally when driving either the ms3 or the MINI. They don't like it when the ms3 is faster than them. Silly little Japanese hatchback (and that one really IS Japanese, it was built in Hiroshima).

Hey, if they can twist the facts to whatever fits the point they want to make, so can I. Some days, it's more important to employ factory workers, other times it is more important to funnel money into corporations because they are more important than people.

Just like the people with "Keep my flag off of your foreign car" bumper stickers on vehicles I know were made in Canada or Mexico. Nothing against our Canadian or Mexican friends, but if you want to tout jingoist attitudes, it's important to do just a little bit of research.

Fact is, there aren't really any vehicles anymore that can have a nationality applied to them.

With this statement and your name, makes me think you're in SHO business.

My mercedes has two american made parts, the smog pump off of a buick regal and a york air compressor, guess which two parts don't work?

I'm pretty sure my toyota pickup truck was assembled at Nummi in fremont about 30miles away so that is about as close to american made as you get for me. Made in america from various foreign sourced parts.

I've had a taurus or two- I'd suspect the SHO is the only one fast enough to have this happen.

Trolls predate the internet. You look for a motive where there is none. They thought shouting at you would be fun and consequence free. They shouted, they experienced no consequence - mission accomplished.

I was sitting at a light next to an undermuffled, over my bumper Chevy pickup when I heard a clucking chicken noise. Not the sort that a person makes, no. It sounded like a recorded effect coming out of a PA speaker. Premeditated trolls.

Don't feed them.

We have a lot of big pickup trucks. Not that many Miatas, really. But the average horsepower of said Miatas is a bit above the national average. You'll notice they didn't try to race you...

I always worry about leaving my Mazdas at the GM plant when I drive their press cars. Last time, my beater got egged.

Must have been a new kid in town Bill and Teri once double-teamed a Mustang - he thought he was going to show up the Miata beside him at the light, but got blown off by it and the one behind it...

I've walked out to spit on my 944 turbo, what looked like a slushy on the hood of my mr2, and gum on my mach 1(this happened in airport parking, so it baked on for a week).......to name a few....... shiny happy people don't seem to discriminate around here.

When I moved from CA to TX I took my E30 cabrio with me - still with CA plates. I had one guy in a truck get my attention and then motion like he was smoking weed (as if all californians with BMWs randomly smoke all the time).

Next time that happens, just ask what the first number of their VIN is. 2 is Canada, 3 is Mexico, 9 is Brazil, and just because its 1 doesn't mean that a large portion of their "American dollars" doesn't go overseas.

Or, just pull in front of them and slam on the brakes

I grew up in PA, lived in New Orleans, Los Angeles, Random Montana, Evansville Indiana, Austin TX, and multiple other places. You will always get crap for things that don't "fit" with the local lifestyle.
