Our office park has some interesting businesses in it. Hot rod shops, upholstery shop, detailing shop, to name a few. In one unit, our landlord builds cars. He's built a few in the past, but at 78 years old, he figures this is his last hoorah. This one is built for time trial and autocross.
It's finally off of the build table.
Well, that's interesting...
Seems to have a little tire...
Ooooo, that's going to be fun!
As things come together, I'll add pictures here.

No problem at all.
Dear Bentwrench, What 'xactly don't you like about that Crossram, They work and that one is Beautiful, you probably would not have liked the Kinsler Fuel Injection I was trying to trade into either. Toyman Tell your Landlord Kudo's from those that Know.
This is still going on. A lot of the major fabrication is done. It got a serious case of dustless blasting the other day. I really hope he gets this thing done. I can't wait to see it run.
What's the final intent.....Track attack? Ax? Hill Climb? general chaos and mayhem in the neighborhood??
Old guy here, spotted my favorite Falcon immediately, a 63.
I got a ride in a restored, unmodified Falcon Sprint a couple of years ago.
We never left the subdivision, but the body roll was absolutely hilarious.
Please keep us posted on this one, it's a fantastic project.

It's a 351 Ford block. I'm not sure what the displacement will end up being, but he's talking 500-600hp. He is having an engine shop in the Charlotte area build it.
Yay, powered by Ford! I would expect an engine shop in that area to be able to get 500-600 HP from the big Windsor easily. Lots of NASCAR knowledge, lots of NASCAR parts, too.
That's a power goal in the "keep it reliable" range for that crowd.
Crackers said:I saw one of those on CL for$400 a couple weeks ago.
Regretting I didn't snatch it up now. :(
I was offered the 63 Sprint that I mentioned in my previous post. Would have been more interested if I hadn't ridden in it. I know that they can be made to handle, but this one was as built by Ford.
"Never meet your heros."
Also, it had a slush box.
