I'm voting for Option C.
Financially, the option that makes the most sense is to simply eliminate a car or three. Especially if you are able to work from home.
That said, its probably not the most fun.

Well yeah...
And in my case, it would mean eliminating a bunch to replace with one.
It would make SENSE to ditch the red XJ, MX6, and both Miatas. Then replace with something like a BRZ or ND Miata.
But i'm not ready for that kind of adulthood yet.
Dude, having a Miata and a slightly squshier Miata and and XJ and an XJ with a different number of doors is the very definition of a rut. You need to branch out. Explore. Look into the dark parts of your automotive psyche and embrace what you find. Something with six wheels. A diesel, in the back. Something with an articulating frame that sleeps four. Smoothie hubcaps for the aero on top speed runs.
Why screw around mere pedestrian project cars like Jeeps or Miata's, when you really need to get yourself some JDM strange:

Or just wait until the Frisby's drop in price and get yourself one.
You know, instead of dropping 20k+ on a "rare" xj to make it a zombie apocalypse 4x4, you could buy a new ND miata. A little more gets you a 5.0 or ecoboost mustang if you want to play in stoopid power land for a while. New cars are really really nice.
Sell the Miata you like less out of the two you have and sink the money from the sale into your MX6.

I think you're missing the fact that i'd be getting rid of the XJ with slightly less doors in favor of a squishy miata.

MX6 is faster.

I have stoopid power land covered.

MX6 has to stay challenge legal for the time being. The Miatas i have currently are not going anywhere.

This game is just about the role the XJ plays. Nothing more. The game is good, you just may find that the rules suck. I'm not asking for input on the Miatae or MX6.
:waiting for someone to post a 25 year old diesel Hilux for sale:
Or you need to find a 20kish 911 SC to play with.

Option D (as in divorce) but seriously, how often have you heard "I'm bored with my aircooled flat 6 race car" and it's value will only go in one direction. If you ever decide to sell it you'll be in a better place then with any other option financially.
Well, since I think having two XJ's is a rut, and having two Miatae is a different rut, and by definition ruts are bad, I vote option C. You should talk to what's his name that imported the diesel Mitsu 4x4 van.
Incidentally, I may be projecting a bit in this thread because even though I have a full suite of cars, I am also slightly bored.

I did that for almost a decade and it sucks. It sucks worse than being in a rut. Playing is better than not playing.
I think he was referring to my game, specifically.
GRM doesn't like questions where any possibilities are already ruled out.

It never stopped me from provided suggestions that were never asked for and are likely unwanted. I don't do it to flounder, but to try to open up the box.

Yeah, but should he modify it to be more like the XJ? or more like the miata?

Hahhaha no worries. I'm not butthurt at all. This thread is stupid. Just explaining why i'm shooting down some somewhat valid options.

Why not both?
Yeah, this is like the What Car threads, where I just assume that the guy starting the thread won't actually pay attention to any of the advice given and do some random thing instead.
