Anyone interested in being involved in a south GA Challenge team? I've been to the Challenge for 5 years, and it's pretty much been TeamMe.
I have several excellent car candidates in my yard, depending on interest and complexity, or am open to others.
I also have a REALLY nice shop (lift, welder, air equipment, etc.). I'm located in Albany (1 hour from Columbus, 1.5 hrs from Macon and Valdosta, 3 hrs from ATL and Gainesville.
This year I will likely be building a simple car involving a lot of student participation, but I could do a second one. I've got 3 that are virtually complete, and several other great alternates.
Guess I'm just gauging interest.
I'd help, this you know, Paul. I'll come up from Tallahassee from time to time. Kurt probably could, too.
i may be relocating to columbus here soon..... would be fun if thats the case... and my income permits it...
I love seeing this sort of thing and our board being used this way. This is the type of thing that makes the $200x Challenge important, not who wins.

Considering I've got your entire Yugo project, including it's oversized heartbeat, sitting in my yard, I'd better be able to tempt you to participate!

I'll be autoxing in Valdosta, so as a minimum I could certainly use your help on test and tune.
tempting isn't hard... the problem is like i said income and time :)... i still want another yugo...

As do you Wayne
I'm working on a parts trade that could yield us a very interesting starting point! Question. If I go visit my sister for a weekend in Atlanta, and I pick up a part that I would use at the challenge, do I have to count travel expenses both ways? Seems like I should only have the expense of bringing it back, since I would only do it on a weekend I'm visiting her and the kids anyway.
No, no, NO!
You count travel expenses from your sister's house (or whatever point en route is closest) to the place you pick it up and back to your sister's house.
There...that should be better!
