Another time I wish I had the money to play. These have got to be rare as hens' teeth.

I think I'd fix the brakes, make sure the engine/trans was up to snuff, and halt any dangerous rust, but that's about it. I would love to tow my popup around the southeast with that.

Coming from my rust restoration on a 72 pickup, I can safely say that there is a TON of dangerous rust there. I paid $1400 for my running/driving/stopping pickup.
I had a '68 3-door with a 4 speed with ambulance doors and tan leather Volvo seats.
The 350 with glass packs was famous in my neighborhood.
Back windows had an etched glass "4x4" in each window.
Only rust was behind the rear wheel wells on the lowest portion of the body.
Oh, yeah, I'm familiar with the rust. My dad has a 72 longbed C10 that is more holes than metal but it still runs and drives. On 7 cylinders even. He's had metal scrappers stopping to ask about hauling it off for nearly 20 years now, but it still makes the rounds.

I just bought a 69 4x4 with a manual trans a few weeks ago. I need to get pics and post them up. It's optioned really odd....4x4, 4 speed trans, manual brakes, manual steering, AM radio, so no real options, then it has full length roof AC. Really strange, but the spid option sheet on the glovebox shows that's how it was ordered.
I'd love to have the old school brush-guard off the one in the CL link.
My dodge is twenty years newer and looks about like that. I ignore the body and the way it looks and focus on it running and driving well.
Of course it was $500...
