DaveEstey's gauge thread got me looking for Cylinder Head Temp gauges for the '68.
I came across this site:

Anyone have any experience with their gauges?
I like the fact that I can customize the look of the gauge by changing the font, needle, bezel, etc. I basically made a vintage looking gauge that I like that would look at home in the '68.
Here's what I came up with:
They're really popular in the Celica AllTrac and Mazdaspeed Miata world for their small boost gauges. Never really seen anything negative about them besides price.
man, those are cool. I love custom touches like that.
Found in their gallery, looks like Ronald McDonald is a Cobra guy...

I nominate that for "Say What?"

I did notice that they were pricey, but they have built in warning lights and I can get them to light up green at night. Unless someone has something exactly like this for cheaper, I think it's worth the money.
Gauges are one thing in the car you spend a lot of time looking at. Best to get exactly what you want.

Gauges should look like Hooters.

I have one as a boost gauge in a Mazdaspeed Miata. With all the choices of color and font, it comes damn close to matching the factory gauges. It's been in the car for 3 years with no issues. Price definitely wasn't a selling point, but the quality seems to be there.

That's what I needed to know. I'm a ways off from getting these, but quality is what I'm looking for.
added to favorites for future projects...thanks...
