Page 71 april issue stated I was bringing a more series effert for a car to the challenge this year.
I have thinking between a mid 90s stang or meybe a cramit with a stick anf a 6 banger for motor. Both are cheap and easy to find. Dencent on gas also if I have drive for any time. I was thinking more of suspion upgrades then big power. But what types of things can youndo for cheap and easy power upgrades? Suspion betting sorted out to handle?
Spell check my man... spell check! WTF is a cramit?

My guess would be "Camaro", given the context.
Sorry, meant chevy camero.

Camaro. They've been spelled the same way for 49 years, there has never been an "e". Sorry, pet peeve of mine, see it all the time and it drives me up the wall.

But it makes for an interesting CL search with the "E".
The 3800/5speed in the F-body is way better than the V6 mustang. Handles better out of the box too. The 2000-2002 models are the best.
The Mustang V6 from the 90's is noted for its weak headgaskets. This may allow you to pick one up at a steal though.
I know the CamaroBird is better but the V6 Mustangs, even with a 5 speed, seem to be way more common and cheaper locally than their GM rivals. Is there potential in a V6 Stang or is it just not worth it?

T-bird supercharger? It doesn't have to last for TOO long, right?

Doesnt the V6 in the Mustang have the same bellhousing pattern as a pushrod 5.0?
Can we please just call them Cramits from now on?
If you bring the Camaro, it already has a nickname.
In reply to Woody:
I vote to add an automatic filter.

Clean V6 stick Mustangs outnumber clean V6 stick Cramits around 75:1 in my experience.
I vote cramit too. Sounds dirty.
Oh man, I think I need to make some new emblems for my cramit

I like to cramit in the back seat of my cramit lol
I don't believe the myths surrounding children conceived in the backseats of Camaro's. There just aren't that many former Olympic gymnasts and contortionists out there.
I'm thinking about swapping a v6 3.4 cramit engine in my rx7....

What is the performance potential of the late 4th gen 3800 manual transmission cars? That motor sure sounds good with a cam....
