Not the Bullet Edition from Ford, this is from Steeda Motorsports. What I LOVE about it is that it has none of the wings and extra tacked-on crap that makes other Mustang so butt-ugly.

Nice. I liked the bullit they did in the early 2000’s too. Always looked cleaner and i guess classier? Maybe its a british racing green thing.
Where is the Bullet edition Charger?
(just remember to put you seatbelt on for any spirited driving)

Only if it comes with 12 hubcaps.
I kinda don't get the point of the Steeda version. It doesn't look THAT different from Ford's. Do we really need two Mustangs celebrating that movie?

They hit it with the lowering stick too, at least an inch lower ride height by the looks of it.

The images above are just renderings so it's hard to tell. Turns out the reason it looks so much like the Ford Bullit is that it starts life as a "regular" Bullit car. Sounds like Steeda plans to add 1/2" drop springs, wheels, sway bars, and a supercharger:
Yeah, Steeda just threw some of their aftermarket stuff at it and made it an "Edition." Not bad, mind you, but kind of overhyped if you ask me. I have theire wing on my car and generally like how they do stuff. There's a '19 Bullett at the local dealership that they're having a hard time moving, incidentally. It's gone from showroom to front of lot, to mid lot, now it's parked on the grass out front with the stuff they're really pushing.
Normally I agree with the "less is more" school on ground effects and wings, but the current Mustang looks kind of off to me without them. Like, I see the Bullett and it kind of makes me go "Meh," but the editions like the Shelby stuff with lots of wings and vents really look good to me. It's kind a reversal from my previous feelings.

There's a school of thought out there, which includes Matt Farrah, that says that Ford needs to stop milking the memory of a mediocre 50+ year old cop movie with these Bullitt Mustangs. If they aren't selling, those folks may have a point. At some point, the people with fond memories of the movie are going to be simply too old to buy a new Mustang. I like the cars personally, but I never felt like they had enough to offer over a similarly equipped GT to justify the cost difference.
For the record, I do like the movie OK, but the chase scene is by FAR the best part of it.
I think there’s an argument to be made that the cars are helping the reputation of the film at this point. Not just the new ones, but the myth around the original movie cars as well.
To me it helps that the Bullett Mustangs are the best looking of all the versions they make and specced nicely.

Well, if you want the 10spd Auto, you can't get a Bullitt with one... maybe you can from Steeda? And the A10 trans and Coyote engine are pretty good combo...

My understanding is they are selling very well.
In reply to Tom_Spangler :
I LOL’d and that’s one of the many reasons that car scene is way over-rated.
Would Steve McQueen drive a "Bullitt" edition Mustang?
He would not.
There is something deeply disturbing about a man attempting to pretend he is another man.
In reply to volvoclearinghouse :
I don't think drivers of these cars are pretending they are Steve McQueen, they are enjoying a vehicle that pays homage to a classic film and car guy. And or they are driving the best looking, best performance compromise, version of a popular vehicle line.
