pretty much anything in the microcar museum for me.
I LOVE oddball cars, i don't own any because I am not a talented fabricator.

Yeah...today I am into craptastic rarity.
I always wanted a lowered/dumped Ranger Splash with some sticky rubber and one of the Euro Ranger diesels swapped in with a 6 speed swapped in. Also, I would love my 93 Escort hatch resurrected with a 2.0 zetec swapped into it.

E36 M3, beat me to it...
Oh my...Maverick Grabber.
I have wanted one for a long time. would make a great classic RWD stage rally car.
1984 911 targa, narrow body. I want a birth year car, and not much else picks my interest, aside from a Countach, and that will make a 911 look down right cheap.
Oh yeah, I wanted a dodge arrow/ plymouth sapporro back in the day before I knew they were stateside versions of that nissan car that everyone wants. they just look neat.

Mitsubishi?
For some reason, ive been craving an american fwd wagon lately. Like a Early bodied Saturn Wagon, or mid 90's Escort wagon. Slap a set of Panasports on it, some suspension goodies, call it a day!
Not a single one is strange here... but they make me an oddity at dinner parties with people who lust after the latest offering from Hummer.
ReverendDexter wrote: C4 Corvette... once I figure out just exactly what the hell a "4+3" transmission is. I want a Corvette, but I need to be able to jack it up in my own driveway, so no C5s or newer. I don't care for the C3 bodystyle, C2s are too expensive, and I just don't care at all for C1s. That leaves C4s. I assume the tacky gold chain will be either in the glovebox or center console.
The 4+3 is a 4 speed manual with an overdrive on gears 2-3-4. Was done to meet CAFE standards of the time. From what I've read, treated properly it works well. Don't, and it will bite you.
Normally, not into big cars but I've been wanting a suicide door Lincoln or a 63 Bonneville (4dr green on green if you please). Mom and dad had a 63 Bonneville and I thought that was a cool car when I was growing up. Sadly it was sold as Dad could never get it to run right on unleaded.

Basically, under some part throttle (read most) conditions, it will close off parts of the gate. So say a Shift from 1 to 2 will have the 2 closed off and it will slide back and over into 4th instead
I want one of these, I have no idea why. In fact I am ~10% away from buying one and doing another custom build. Think Red with white flake lace top and a huge stereo, maybe air-ride suspension.
In reply to mad_machine:
Your thinking of the skip-shift feature of the later cars. The Doug Nash 4+3 was as described in the previous post.
I would like to have one of these:
One of them was the first car my father bought for me to use when I went off to college. Beat the E36M3 out of that for a year till I decided I needed something larger. Wish I had kept it.
European edition1981 BMW 323i with body by Bauer. The best combination of fun to drive, handling, semi-open air motoring, smooth-as-silk engine, practical engined car I've ever driven; and I've driven lots of plain-jane and exotics.
