My 6 year old son has already been to the Mitty twice, but my 3 year old son hasn't been to the track yet. I'm thinking of heading to the March NASA event at Road Atlanta (http://www.nasa-se.com/2016Mar12.php) just to get him used to things before the 2016 Mitty. I've been to one NASA event and that was as a guest journalist for a driving school, so I'm assuming my previous experience was not normal. I didn't see ticket prices for spectators, but from what I saw before it looked like it was free to just watch the event. Can anyone give me the low down on just spectating a NASA event?
Not sure how it works at Road Atlanta, but here in Colorado, its free to spectate at NASA events. Only requirement is to sign the wavier. A bit of googling and I'm seeing the phrase "Spectating is free and encouraged" a lot.
My guess is that NASA will not charge a fee. If there's fee, it will be a gate fee charged by the facility.
