Surprise! Mazda's releasing another sports car later this month

One rumor says it could be a rotary series hybrid (EV with rotary generator), that would make sense.

I can only see one exhaust tip. Must be underpowered.

Looks like an FRS mixed with an FD RX7, and the straight body lines from a Miata...

For the love of God let it be a Miata coupe with some slightly different lines.

That hood looks extremely long. Like you could fit a V12 under there and it would still be a front-mid engined car. It doesn't make sense for it to be anything but a large-engined car with that much hood length.

Mazda has been working on a hybrid rotary powertrain forever, so an RX-9 with that would actually make sense. Oh it's pretty so far...

I'm really interested in seeing what Mazda is up to with this one. Silhouette looks a bit XK Coupe perhaps?

I adjusted the exposure all the way up in Photoshop. There is a hidden second exhaust pipe!

You needed to adjust the exposure up to spy it? I could see the glimmer of something there in the original picture
