im afraid we cant talk you down. we actually need you to buy it so we can experience it vicariously through this forum when you post pictures and such.
did you test drive it?
you should test drive it.
Paging Mazdax605! Mazdax605, cleanup on aisle five!
Meh, if it helps talk you down, my folks had the similar vintage (and similarly ugly) Toyota van. Chicks will laugh at you. Or . . . maybe . . . that was me and not the van.
I would buy it as I love those vans. I owned one briefly recently, and loved it so much I regret selling it. I am hunting the Japanese spec turbo diesel Delica right now. I want one so bad, but getting the one I am on the hunt for from BC Canada to me on the East coast is proving difficult.
There was a family that owned one of those when I was in Jr High/High School, their last name was Padden, so we called it the Padden Wagon.

Ironhide was a Nissan though.
There is a three step process to follow:
Buy it for as cheap as possible
I believe this has the 4g64 in it. Pull it and swap in 4g63t keep it under 2k total.
Show up to the Challenge
that thing is hideous. i would not waste my time, energy or money on it.
how's that?
pretend you're in a strip club - look but don't touch
I've always wanted a vehicle that uses my legs as part of the crumple zone.
...oh wait... I own a Mini... nevermind...
paranoid_android74 wrote: Yep, pretty sure you need that Jim.
Not even close to the same van. The TG van is a Kei van, and is way smaller than the L300 Delica. The large bumpers on teh US spec delica is unfortunate, but helps with the whole feet as a crumple zone argument. The bumpers on these are no joke.
