I'd also worry about the battery pack being any good.

Not sure what you're getting at with the first comment.
Battery reliability issues are a way blown out of proportion myth, and as far as major repair expenditures go, they are quite cheap (~1000 rebuilt with gen 2 cells), and require extremely little labor to replace.
Hell, at 149k miles if the car were in California the batteries would still be under warranty.
