Road life is rough.
How did the drive thru the night go?
If you guys are stopping for food somewhere in the Indy area, give me a shout & we can hook up. The Indy-Kids would enjoy chatting with little Stampie.
Edit: if you don't have my number, you can get it from Patrick.
Thanks for the midnight delivery stampie. Sorry i had to take the drugs and miss you. I was looking forward to seeing you. I aloso forgot to put girlscout cookies on the seat of the truck for y'all because I'm a burnout.
We're stopping for a few hours in North Woolbury, Ohio to visit Carol's Grandma. Overnight was rough but I had a random Irish punk playlist going for most of it.
My favorite song of the night.

Looks like we may be going through late this evening but we'll be in a rush to get to some crazy car yard sale in Tampa by Saturday morning so no stop and eat. I'll get your number from Pat anyway cause how else can I give you crazy ideas that can't even be mentioned in the board?
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael :
No problem. Did you open it yet? Can you share what was in the bucket? People I told about it questioned if I was running drugs. You did confuse me with the clutch? master cylinder on top of the lug nuts. I was pretty sure it wasn't intended for us.
It was intended for you.
Bucket contained a limited slip for the truck, an nos door handle, and tailgate cables.
No drugs.....
Thanks again for being the steward of the homer bucket.
You must now pass along the bucket to another grm person with stuff in it. You should put:
Stampie ——> Patrick. 5 gallons diesel
Patrick ——>Dusterbd13. Gmt400 parts
and so on, kinda like the sign from the new years game. It can come back here with something for me and then we could send it to svrex with the stuff he’s getting from me so we could write that svrex is getting BBC on it.
I gather if we got a bunch of diesel smelling homer buckets and put car parts in half and drugs in the other, we could make lots of money using team stampie as mules
So now I can confess. I wasn't sure that was the correct Homer bucket. I was pretty sure but because I tend to store a bunch of stuff in Homer buckets I was afraid that in the 6 months I've had it that maybe there was a mix up. I couldn't look inside to make sure because then it wouldn't be the Homer Bucket of Mystery. And now when I get home I can open my other Homer buckets and see what I couldn't find for the last 6 months.

That's fantastic!
And Patrick: remind me. I reaaaaallly wana give svrex a bucket of bbc....

I'd like to see pics of the Audi once you have it loaded. It's going to be Lil Stampie's first car right?
In reply to Indy-Guy :
We turned and burned quick. I asked the group and no one took a picture. So here's one from the back seat .
First car yes but we need to decide in what role. I think a stock Audi 4000cs Quattro would make a great daily first car for a 15 year old. I also think a 400hp plus turbo Quattro would kick behind as a rookies half budget Challenge car. The two are mutually exclusive. If I were Seth I'd drink a lot of coffee and think about it. Lucky for me I prefer to drink a lot of whiskey and think about it.
Great meeting you guys! Glad to see my Audi going to a good place can’t wait to see progress and now have room to finish some motorcycle projects and get another project going.
In reply to Grantmiterko :
Thank you! It was great meeting you in person and seeing your collection. I wish we were closer cause I'd love to watch those motorcycles come together.
Great thing about sleeping on a trip like this is you wake up and find yourself almost to Bowling Green in no time. Carol's taking over driving duties but first we got a profanity laced tirade against McDonald's and their Mocca Frappe machine. Apparently a large Mocca Frappe with extra chocolate drizzle and no whip cream is crucial to driving duty. She also says she only curses when she's mad but that's a lie.

Ok, that's a tease. We're going to need the Craigslist classic shot. You know, on a trailer at the gas station.
In reply to Indy-Guy :
More importantly we have a picture of the Mocca Frappe Carol finally got.
Because of that she was in a good mood and took this picture for you.
In reply to Stampie :
Aaaaaah satisfaction!
I'll remind you that it's customary here to start the build thread before you get the car home. Link?
You'll need to log in to post.
