One of my favorite movie car chase scense is from the movie Basic Instinct. It features one Lotus Turbo Esprit chasing another on a winding mountain road with lots of oncoming traffic and slow moving traffic that they were passing. The first time i saw that had me tense enough that I wasn't breathing. The lead car was driven by Sharon Stone's character and the chase car by Michael Douglas's.

That is a good one. There is also a very memorable scene from that movie that has got nothing to do with cars.
