Yes. I thought this post would be about the Iron Duke Engine that killed the Goody's Dash Series.

Caroll Shelby was involved with a company whose name I cannot remmber that was making somethign very similar about 15 years ago.

There is also the EcoMotors opposed piston design if you enjoy non-traditional engine layouts.
