Well, unsure how it works on the issue of getting through Canada,  but I found a recent shipment from DC area to Anchorage for not a lot over a grand.  Go figure.

FWIW, I did a quick search of shipping something to Hawaii. It can be done, but I found no comps. So I should say all the US, and not just CONUS. Was kinds surprised how cheaply I could get something to Alaska, honestly.

I need several cars moved. One from Southern California to Northern VA, possibly one moved from Michigan to San Antonio TX (I need to email AC), and possibly one moved from GA to Northern VA.

Is this your company, your drivers, your trucks? Or are you a broker? I'm very weary of having cars shipped since I've had issues 2/3 times I've had it done.

I'm acting as a broker but have several drivers/companies I've worked with buying and selling my own cars. I have the ability to do background checks on drivers and companies to look for complaints and years of experience.  I can share those and get you make the final call. So far, knock wood, I've been lucky. All deliveries have gone well. I will admit that I always talk with drivers in advance to get an idea of their skill set.

I sent over a PM yesterday about a shipping quote, not sure if it went through. I'm looking at moving a Cayman T from CO to MD in an enclosed trailer - I can send over another PM with more details if my original one didn't arrive.

Hi , just for an idea , whats it  normally cost  both prices , for open  trailer  or enclosed to ship a Volvo 122 that rolls but not running from your location to Los Angeles area 90028 ,

This is just to get an idea , I do not have a car to ship at this time.

Thanks for the info smiley

What needs to be done packing wise, drop off etc, and cost, of shipping a Porsche 996 front bumper from West Palm Beach FL to Denver CO?

Just a bumper?

The cheapest route would be open, but for the transporter enclosed may be cheaper. I'd wrap it in a moving blanket,  bubble wrap ad a tarp, for protection.  I'd put out a low bid as the transporter could carry it as extra storage without taking up the space of a car. Say, try to get it done for $100, about the price of greyhound when they did this. Man, do I miss having that option.

You can do it today, if you want. Even Canadian provinces are possible.  I just don't have a connection with someone who specializes in import/export with Canada, so I haven't included Canada yet.

Not to clutter your thread but what if I found a door from a random southern scrapyard for my car? How would that work? Would the salvage yard have to do all the packaging in advance?
