I should have grabbed a pic of the Boss 302 in the other window. They change cars every month or so although it's usually 56 chevy/nascar/drag car world.

I didn't know you could get one of these this low without some serious modifications
It has sat on this back lot for at least ten years but does get moved around.

It looked like a 351W to me. Definitely not a Cleveland and the valve covers looked too far apart to be an 8.2" block.
A Boss 302 clone is high on my list of V8s that I would let into an RX-7. Most aftermarket 351C heads are designed to easily plug the front coolant passage in the head so you can put them on a Windsor block.
But then my mind goes to aftermarket blocks with 4.125" bores and now my idea costs $20k so never mind.

Don't some of these have airbags? I thinks the 600s had the hydraulic system and very few 500s did too.
This is a weird sighting.
I am getting on I-95 and see this Tundra towing what I believe was an F650 or 850 or something and I snap a pic. Of course I want to see who is driving the truck with the cool bike ... its Randy Pobst!!
I promptly lowered my window, yelled his name and he gave me thumbs up. Made my week!
Cherry... EDIT: Ok, ok the pic sucks...I was about to go into a security gate at 5am after a very slippery commute to work.
No pics: a Passat W8 wagon in traffic this morning.
I still have a financially unhealthy desire for one.
The Audi is owned by the son of the guy who had a VW dealer where Honda is now. I've bought some really cool stuff from him including a caddy with a sno-way plow that he used on their lot.
edit: that 944 has been there YEARS
