I would have liked to read an interview with John Greenwood but he passed some time back.  Anyone else have a suggestion?

When we did podcasts, back in the olden times, JG and I made a wishlist of interview subjects. Really, we could get most anyone in our biz.

But there was one name that seemed so elusive: Dave Brockie.

And JG made it happen

Yeah we just straight up emailed Brockie and pitched him on the podcast, and he responded right away with GWAR's publicist copied basically saying "this sounds fun. Let's make it happen"

And I'd love to talk to Jim Glickenhaus at some point, too. Because in addition to giving the world insane supercars, he also gave the world "Maniac Cop," "The Exterminator" and "Basket Case 2."

All corporate BS out the window - interview Mary Barra.

Her dad was a tool/die maker at Pontiac, she went to GMI (now Kettering) which had a unique internship/class schedule at the time, and now runs GM.

Give the car guys your plan.  Down to earth - no BS.  Like you're talking to your dad who probably used a vernier caliper most of his life.

Ken Block, but not about rally or gymkhana. About his vehicle collection, being a car guy and motorsports marketing and branding.

THIS is a good how to. You can get the typical biography stuff reading a . . . biography. But biographies leave questions - ask those too.

As far as who, get the older people first since they may not wait for you to talk to them and they were there for a lot of the history and background.
