I am going back Monday to negotiate a $$$$.
My wife loves these cars but she hates it when I bring home projects. It is a very very clean car. I am betting a garadge kept car. The interior looked new even with 133K

I'm a little (not a lot) surprised that they're this cheap, but I'll bet they're scary expensive to fix.
I've got a buddy with a S-Type R. He loves it, and says it is a fantastic car. Even though the check engine light comes on rather regularly.
The more I look at the picture in the ad I posted the more I think it's a scam though. There appears to be a front license plate holder and we don't use them in Michigan.

Could be an Ohio or IL car....
I found 3 more for $3500, or less, so it may be legit.

How hard is that to fix / replace before something catastrophic happens. I assume that these are interference heads?
What happened to that new beetle, did it burn? Or is that just really terrible body work. It's not uncommon for cheap Chinese radiator fans to start electrical fires in those, so that might be what happened if it's burned.
