Whenever I'm out in my Chrysler people are constantly, a) asking me when I'm going to "rat-rod it" and, b) telling me what year my "Edsel" is.

They'd stop that if you kicked them in the nuts every time they said that. Word travels fast. No one wants annoy the "nut kicker" guy.

Those people are idiots, you'll find a lot of them when you drive a classic.

My '58 Pontiac get attention too.

My favourite is "I had one just like it, except it was a Chevy!"

Morons.

I have a friend that has built a couple of very impressive rat rods. Except for the drum brakes and no side glass they are comfortable, good handling machines.

The bright, shiny yellow one is my rat rod: http://wlbsite.com

Wow, I want one. I've been thinking of something similar for a few weeks since I saw one of these for sale. I was thinking painted in green and cream with lots of pinstriping

My question is: can it haul my 5th wheel better than my current rig?

Well built shiny cars are pretty much the opposite of a rat rod.
