That's very cool, but it's not really a Stag Estate, it's a 2.5 estate with Stag running gear.
Wicked cool though, wouldn't you love that over here in the States. Heads would 'sploding all over the place at the site of it.
That used to be a fairly common swap in the UK, the Stag V8 had lots of teething problems (mainly due to manufacturing issues) and the Rover V8 is cheap and plentiful over there.
Which begs the question of how he is still insisting it's a "Stag Estate".
Though at least he didn't insist on incorrectly calling it a "shooting brake".
Stag Estate sounds like a really classy strip joint. I would assume they serve bangers and mash. Knickers would be Union Jack, and pinkies would always be out.
My favorite part about this car is the fact that the colors are listed as "Yellow" and "Black" on the data plate, rather than "Mimosa" and "Onyx" or similar nonsense.
