Also, WTF kind of sorcery is Cyclopentane, that it only requires 0.88 ounces of the stuff to refrigerate a 4.4 cubic foot box?

aside from being an efficient refrigerant, it's also a great name for a metal band.

Hey, uh cyclopentane is the gas (blowing agent-another band name?) they use to create the foam insulation.  R600a is the refrigerant.  

I was hoping for flammable refrigerant cause then you can always make a flame thrower out of it.

Step 3, fill with beer.

Google says R600A is refrigerant grade isobutane.  So, probably flammable, but less than an ounce, so like a cigarette lighter.  

I've heard cars could use propane or CO2, but due to pressure or flammability issues, R134 was better.

Step 2 should have been fill with beer, with two in the freezer, so they could cool during step 3.
