Has anyone here vinyl wrapped a car, and if so, were you pleased with the results? About what did it cost?

I had a sign shop for about ten years and did them professionally. I will say that you want to peel it a year before the suggested "life" of the vinyl. Most of them will become brittle and will be a bear to get off.
Probably bought straight from the distributor at wholesale prices or made friends with the sign shop guy.

Not $96 but also not $250...
For last years Challenge Minivan, I bought 5x25 of Vvivid Brand for $160 with shipping.
That was more than I needed and my budget line for vinyl was $98.
I've been looking at doing 3M vinyl wrap for my racecar. It's a boxy '80s sedan: big flat panels without any compound curves. I figure that's about as easy as it gets for a vinyl job. Just not sure about the bumpers and wing.
Also,me how does Avery compare to 3M in terms of quality and ease of application? Some of the Avery colors are closer to what I'm looking for.
Avery is a good vinyl, A6 is what it was when i was doing it. You should know the 16v clear coat doesn't like graphics; it peeled up in sheets when I removed graphics from mine and also my brothers.
My currently has a Maaco paint job. Looks good enough from 10' away, but it's runny and spiderwebbed. Then again, it's held up against 10 years of outdoor parking.
So, I'm on the fence between another low-budget, Maaco-style paint job or vinyl wrap.
