Does anyone like these cars? I have really mixed feelings about them. Some I like.
Others not so much.

If it is done mildly, I usually like it. Think stock body, Euro-style trim treatments, slightly lowered on tasteful wheels (like classic basketweakes, etc), legal tint, and nice exhaust.
Take that Jag above, put 2" smaller wheels on it, raise it 1.5", and lose the rear window decals and I'd be all over it!
I think that Jag is perfect minus the decals in the rear window esp with the dark as E36 M3 tint then again I heart blacked out cars with silver lipped wheels. Add big sub and cruise.
Never like the whole vip nonsense, for cruising, keep mostly stock appearance wise, more likelyhood your car will still be in front of the motel the next morning instead of broken glass
I like big cruisers, I like nice wheels, but just like all the Hella-Flush-It-Down-The-Toilet nonsense, I can't stand the VIP stance stuff. Form AND function have to coexist on a luxury car, if you ask me.
I think you'll find most of this crowd seriously disapproves of spending a lot of money to make a car worse to drive. I know I do.
I am not really into Japanese cars and the airbags, stickers and ugly wheels that go with the VIP look, but I like that type of cars in general modified in a more tasteful way
another fad created by idiots that have no business touching automobiles. Hella flush=Donks spelled backwards.
I like this trend. I have wanted to drop a shaved Crown Victoria "Country Squire" on some nice big JDM chromes and power it with the nastiest RB26DETT you have ever seen.

Screw that. If I want a performance car, I will buy something that is stripped down. If I want a luxury car, all I care about is form. It is why I don't care for BMWs for the most part.
First I heard of VIP style. What exactly is the difference between this hellaflush, and the stance people other than the victims, errr I mean cars, they choose to 'upgrade'?

Modifying luxury cars is for the proletariat. When the rich want to improve their luxury car, they throw the old one away and buy a new one.
I don't really think this, but I do think that luxury cars look best when they are understated.
I generally prefer my VIP cars more old skool
The only new car I might consider is the Ford 500 because that might make for a nice newish DD and they are dirt cheap right now.
canoe attack
see, this is where GRM board needs the smiley emoticon canoe... instead of typing CANOE all the time
I dig the style when it isn't excessive like that Lexus.
The Jag is a bit low to be able to really use daily. Not to mention, I'm sure you've got to run stiff enough springs to keep the wheels out of the fenders so as to destroy the "luxury" aspect of it.
I like to look at them, but I'd never build one for myself.
