volvo s70 help.

Dose any one know about volvo s70s?

Any way its a 98 auto.the problem is it will start up fine most of the time but after its idling for a few minutes it will die and not start for about 10 or 15 min.

I dont think its ever had a tune up so im going to start with that.also there is a cel on but i havent got it pulled yet.

does it blow out black smoke as it is dying?

When it fails to restart, does it crank? Does it try to start?

How does it die? Just shuts off, stumbles down until it dies.

More information would help.

There is an extended warranty on the ETM's

ETM wasn't until 99.

Do these still have cold-start injectors? Check the grounds on the injector wiring harness. If it stalls out when the CSI stops squirting maybe it isn't signaling the injectors.

At least, that's what happened with my Volvo, but it's much older. :)

Is it a turbo?
