I need one of these things that the stick is pointing to. It's the rubber boot that keeps water off the back for the headlight bulb and out of the headlight housing. The car is a 2000 Miata.
It needs to go here.
I'll bet any Miata junkyard would send you one for free. The headlights rarely survive the transition into 'salvage vehicle', but those boots would every time.
In reply to Keith Tanner:
Where are these Miata junkyards of which you speak? They don't seem to be around here.

Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you.

It's cool to know that such a thing exists.

There are no pick and pulls in this part of the world.
I have a salvage car on its way to Exocet status, but haven't tried to sell any parts yet. Just went downstairs and checked and the rubber is actually still perfect in spite of a font collision. I'll send you a PM.
Woody, have a spare. Almost forgot to check! I'll send a pm tomorrow morning to get your address, ship it out to you.
Edit: I see shellemonster also has one. Either way.
Cheers.
Pick and Pulls were illegal in CT until this year. I thought I read somewhere that the law was changed / repealed and you will soon be able to go dumpster diving.

Yes, there's a junkyard specializing in the very same low volume auto you want right by your house
If you're willing to ask a forum, contacting Planet Miata or Mazmart shouldn't be out of the question.
