Ford Focus 00-07 behind the front wheels. The fenders, rocker panels and bottoms of the doors due to them not having mud flaps available from the factory. Mine did it and I've seen many others like it. Sand and rocks kicked up by the front wheels chips the paint and rust starts.

Rangers like to have the leaf spring mounts on both sides rust out and let the springs be supported on the bottom of the bed.  It is a cheap way to lower the truck, but rarely will they rust out at the same time.

Saturn S series will rust along the rocker panel at the rear door openings.  Pictured below is my 96 SW1.  This bit of rust has been advancing at an alarmingly rate even though the car has not been driven in about two years.

SA/FB RX-7s rust in the inner rear fenderwells and on top of the rear frame rails in the same area. There's just enough room for moisture and crud to get stuck up in there between the rail and fenderwell and nowhere for it to go, so it sits and rots.

I mean besides the rockers and lower rear quarters but those rust on pretty much anything ever.

67-72 GM trucks. Sit in the seat, hold the wheel. Everything below your elbows is rust.

I had a W116 Mercedes that the firewall rusted out on where the fenders connected.  Since the fenders were where the struts connected to, if you bounced the front suspension with the hood up, you could see the fenders moving disconcertingly independently from the firewall.

Yeah.  I scrapped the car very soon after I noticed that.

AE92 Corolla (coupe): The base of the rear glass is by far the worst area. This then leads to the side pockets of the trunk and the spare tire well rusting as rain is let in. The rocker corners are the next-worst areas, along with the roof along the tops of the doors. Doesn't rust too badly otherwise.

Fox Chassis Fords like to rust out the front frame rails where they meet the bottom of the strut tower, behind the front wheels where the firewall turns into the floor, and the trunk floor right in front of the taillights.

Kind of true. On s30 chassis they rust at the battery tray, through the firewall, and down into the passenger floor board. Nearly every Z I’ve ever looked at had this complete rot out. The next place the s30 rusts is the rear dog legs and side sill. Flintstone mobiles!

Rust is why mine has a fresh engine and has been in pieces for over 7 years.  I ran ourt of talent, not confident enough in my ability to shape the needed pieces as most are not available in the aftermarket. Frame rails, TC fussets, firewall, strut towers, floorboards, rockers, doglegs, wheel arches even the structural part of the unibody under the floor that ties to the rear valance panel, yet my battery tray is fine.

Every B-body wagon: right behind the rear tires. Mine had rust here, and no where else. Indiana.

For Evildky....

here's how we deal with rusted s30s in the Northeast...

Mine was not nearly as badly rotted, but frame rails and floor replacement is pretty commonplace for these cars.

Mopar A bodies can be rusted just about anywhere by this time, but besides the rear quarter panels (seems to be an issue with EVERYTHING), the cowl under the dash can rust if not kept free from leaves and other things that block the drains. '63-'66s also appear to be prone to rusting where the chrome strips cover the point where the tail fins were welded together, if mine is any indication.
