I mean, you can't really have "we can talk about the future and speculate about up and coming tuner cars, innovative swaps and platforms" without modern electronics in the mix....

Well, I want an engine that is small, light, available in every junkyard, comes with manual transmission, integrates with all my body electronics via bluetooth and tunes itself to 1000 hp automatically after I hook it to the battery.
And it needs to be able to tow 8k lbs.

My only point is that I personally have no idea what is new and exciting and I need the industry experts to inform me. Maybe it is big and high tech, or small and simple or just something totally awesome that isn't getting much attention yet but has been under our noses all this time...
